"Uncommon valor was a common virtue".  Those words spoken by Fleet Admiral Nimitz in 1945 still ring true today at this amazing museum!

Our day will begin at the Pacific Combat Zone, a unique 2-acre indoor/outdoor exhibit where we will see a real WWII PT Boat and TBM Avenger up close. Then, we will head to the beautiful outdoor amphitheater and enjoy the unique opportunity to see a live WWII Pacific War reenactment. Watch a portrayal of American GIs making an amphibious landing on a Japanese- held island. Complete with tanks and flame throwers, learn how these American heroes defeated the Japanese island by island.

After lunch on your own in charming Fredericksburg, we will return to the 6-acre Nimitz Museum to embark on a self-guided tour to relive the history of WWII in the Pacific. Audio aids will be included.

Ticket cost includes transportation, Combat Zone reenactment and Museum admission. Maximum tickets: 48
